More on school chairs
Some of you might criticize me, but I believe that school chairs are being used much too often in a classroom environment. Why should we tell our kids to sit all the time? It^s not the most natural position for a human being, is it? They are full of energy and they will learn much more if they"re allowed to move around the classroom. I would go even further and say that you ought to try to get outside the school for some of the classes. Why not organize a science class in the nearby park? Or a foreign language class in the gym? Yes, it works very well, contrary to common beliefs. There are so many interesting games and activities that you don"t have to tell them to sit and write in their notebooks all the time. It"s boring, they don"t manage to remember much in this way, and it"s not really healthy to their backs. Did you know that most scoliosis cases are caused by pad posture, and bad posture is most often observed when our children sit on the school chairs, bent over their course books, and forget about their backs. If you don"t have an opportunity to let them outside the classroom, give them a short break in the middle of the class. Tell them to stand up, stretch a bit, do a couple of sit-ups. You will see how much better they will be able to concentrate later on.
